Cosmo
A stray tuxedo first enchanted us in our central Arizona back yard. After several weeks of daily visits, his gentle, affectionate nature and good looks won an invitation into our home. While he was outdoors on his own, he was a great hunter, but after he adopted us, he became an indoor only, domestic pet. His loving, untempermental, and quiet disposition, was well suited to indoor life.
We named him Cosmo Cramer, due to his slip-slide- cornering-through-the-door room entrances, just like his namesake on the Seinfeld show. Cosmo is such a character and cute with a great personality and can be enormously entertaining, when he is in the mood. One of Cosmo's amusing pastimes is chasing bubbles. He stands up on his hind legs & the two front paws just go crazy, trying to catch those floating soapy globes. The catnip container is another playful, pleasing game he enjoys.
Cosmo loves to sleep a lot. He has many favorite retreats around the house. The bedroom closet, an affection for the inside of the clothes drawers, the coolness of the shower stall, and curled up on the rattan vanity chair. When he is not sleeping, Cosmo can be found stalking his former prey, the birds, around the vertical blinds, looking out the Arcadia door. After that wears him out, he will roll on his back, expose his white belly, and say "Pet me, scratch me, I'm purring for you". You can't say no to that meow and friendly round amiable face.
Cosmo has been a docile, tame, even-tempered companion, ready for a cuddle on the sofa to get his daily head scratch and wonder why we don't feed him more of his favorite treat, Kitty Kaviar.
Cosmo Cramer, the PURRRRRFECT cat's meow.

Moses
We had to say goodbye recently to our dear friend, Moses. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge loved by all, having lost his battle with chronic renal failure (CRF) on August 13, 2002. He will be missed.
Here are a few things his mom had to say about him recently:
My Moses is a "take-no-prisoners" guy - he sits on the kitchen table - his territory. We sometimes call him Sarge because he keeps the others under control - no one messes with Moses!
He gets his own plate - he doesn't eat with the others...not too spoiled, is he? If a strange cat comes along outside, he rushes to the door ready to attack even though he is in near total kidney failure. I just had him to the vet this week for gum problems - his BUN and creatinine numbers are always off the in-house blood testing scale. My vet has no idea how he has managed to live nearly a year with values that would take out most cats - but then that just shows his perseverance!!!!
But, when he turns his nose up at food - I can count on his eating Kitty Kaviar with his boiled chicken and shrimp. At least he gets some of the necessary nutrients that are not in the "people" food!

Trooper
As a baby, the poor little guy was outside on his own in the cold Missouri winter - such
a "TROOPER" he made it quite a while before we rescued him and took him in.

Moose
We are owned by four cats. One is holding me at paw point and forcing me to order
this Kitty Kaviar or else! I have never seen an animal go soooooo crazy over a treat
before. When his three canine brothers go out to do their duty, he thinks he NEEDS a
Kitty Kaviar treat because the dogs were good boys. It's insane!
